Had a great time with friends, especially hitting the Mattaponi Springs Golf Club, just 15 minutes away. We also took the family to WaterWorks nearby. The location made it easy to explore local attractions. I recommend checking out the local spots for meals, and relax at the hotel after a busy day. It worked well for our group trip!
One thing to note is that the first room we got had a nasty smell and a broken TV, but we were moved to a better one.

The staff were exceptionally welcoming, especially a man at the front desk who eagerly helped resolve a minor cable issue quickly. Cleaning staff were friendly as well, asking if we needed anything.

The friendly staff immediately accommodated my request for a bottom floor room and resolved a cable issue quickly without any irritation. Although the grassy areas for dog walking were disappointing due to trash and unpleasant surroundings, I found a clean spot nearby for my dog. The breakfast offerings were very limited, featuring stale pastries and insufficient coffee, which was disappointing. Overall, the rooms could use maintenance and a thorough cleaning effort to make the stay more pleasant.

The room had air conditioning, a private bathroom, and a microwave, which was super handy. There was also a fridge and cable TV. The staff was accommodating and quickly fixed a cable issue. The bed felt nice and cozy, and towels were provided. All in all, a pretty good setup for a family stay.
